Throwing a party for your little ones’ special day takes some planning, a little creativity and in my opinion lots and lots of balloons, but not to worry I’m here to help!
I think the best children’s parties start with a theme – and there are so many to choose from. I’ve been to lots of Disney themed parties – Frozen, Star Wars and Minions – but Paw Patrol is still one of my favourites, as Chase the Dog is a firm friend and always happy to share spy stories.
If a Disney party is not your thing and you want to get a bit more creative but still want a theme, I’ve been to some great dinosaur, pirate and super hero parties. Only last week I went to a monster versus dinosaur party, and what a thrill this was … the monsters won, perhaps that’s why dinosaurs are now extinct? Needless to say the Pickled Onion Monster Munch were a big hit …
Princess party themes are as popular as ever – whether it’s Princess Elsa or Anna from Frozen, or the Rachel Allen Birthday Princess range, and of course Princess Poppy from Trolls. The princess theme can also work well with a garden or vintage tea party, as of course princesses do like to party in style.
